Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Linguanda ("the app"), provided by Zetage Technologies LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801 ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to them.
Who can use the app
You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live. Children may use Kid Mode only together with a parent or guardian, who is responsible for their use. Features that require an account, such as AI voice conversations, are for adults and for children under a parent's supervision.
What the app is
Linguanda helps you study languages with vocabulary, lessons, a level test and AI conversation practice. It is a learning aid. Word lists and meanings are provided as a first pass and may contain mistakes, and a native speaker may use a language differently.
AI conversations
The AI partner is generated by a computer program. It can be wrong, can misunderstand you, and is not a teacher, translator of record, or source of professional advice. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions. Do not share sensitive personal information in a conversation.
Free and Premium plans
Free accounts include a limited number of AI conversations per period, each with a time limit; the app shows what is left. Premium gives a larger allowance, subject to fair use. We may change limits and features over time.
Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple. It renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. You can manage or cancel it in iPhone Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions. Prices are shown before you subscribe. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app: no attempts to break, overload or reverse engineer the service, to bypass usage limits, to access other users' data, or to use the AI to produce unlawful, harmful or abusive content. We may limit or end access if these terms are broken.
Our content
The app, its design, word lists and lessons belong to us or our licensors and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial learning. You keep ownership of what you say; you allow us and our service providers to process it only to run the conversation, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time (how). We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
No warranty and limits of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local consumer law requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we make a significant change we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
